I've bought into the €2000 Irish Poker Championship main event in Galway and booked flights.Since there were no flights for another 3 days my return flight is on the day of the final table.
That's how confident I am, haha.
Will be flying into Galway on December 10th and leaving on the 14th.
Don't know where I'm staying yet.

Galway is proper nice right out on the West coast. Jump in a dinghy and you'd make it to the U S of A in a few weeks :)
I stayed in the Harbour Hotel the last time I was there, pretty nice. Very modern.

i might come play but 2pm is pretty early so will wait to see what sort of sleep schedule im on.
thx for the heads up on the hotel, looks about a mile away from the radisson where its being held tho. will prob just book into the radisson although i begrudge paying €120/night for a bed to sleep in when im out playing poker all day.

GL mate, u played anything like this before, buy-in, field size, location etc?
its pretty small, about 400 players max, 2k buyin with lots of live and online sats - should be super super soft and full of clowns
i've played wsop main event before, good practise for playing against droolers imo
